The main Welcome Reception will take place at the Oxford University Museum of Natural History, from 19:00 until 21:00.

The museum was constructed in 1860 and displays many of the University of Oxford's natural history specimens. The reception will enable IPITA delegates to relax together in a wonderful environment, catching up with old friends and meeting new ones, while drinks and food are served.

One of the priorities for the Local Organising Committee (LOC), the IPITA Council and the IPITA Young Investigator Committee is to engage with Trainees and Junior Research staff. This social event is specifically designed for this group and will involve a boat cruise on the River Thames from 19:00 to 22:00. Drinks and BBQ food will be served and we will be entertained by a Jazz Band.
